Spottiswoode Park residents vote to spend $188,000 on estate upgrades
Residents of Spottiswoode Park in Singapore have chosen three estate improvement projects worth $188,000 under the country's first participatory budgeting trial. The winning ideas, picked from 162 proposals and put to a vote in July, are themed void deck furniture, a reflexology pebble path and stone seats. Construction is expected to start in late 2026 after tenders are called.
