Anwar: BRICS offers room to reduce reliance on the West
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said BRICS offers geo-economic advantages through a large integrated market, allowing member states to diversify trade and reduce reliance on traditional Western markets. Speaking at the BRICS Summit in New Delhi, he stressed Malaysia wants strategic autonomy and urged BRICS to take a clear stand against occupation and colonialism.
