Health Ministry assures rural Sarawak healthcare access preserved after FDS suspension
The Health Ministry has assured that healthcare access for rural Sarawak residents will be maintained following the temporary suspension of the Flying Doctor Service (FDS) in the state. The suspension involves seven FDS teams covering 85 localities with an estimated population of 14,830, and the ministry is reviewing the programme while maximising alternative transport by road and water.
