Kimi Antonelli won the Spanish Grand Prix at the new Madring circuit in Madrid, extending his championship lead over Mercedes team-mate George Russell to 81 points. Lando Norris led from pole but lost out during the virtual safety car period and finished third, with Max Verstappen second. Lewis Hamilton retired early with a brake failure.
