MyCC: Competition Act amendments target cartels, not big firms
The Malaysia Competition Commission says amendments to the Competition Act 2010 are aimed at anti-competitive conduct such as cartels, price-fixing and bid rigging, not at large companies. Chairman Idrus Harun said the 34-clause bill expands MyCC's investigative powers while adding safeguards, and urged businesses to treat competition compliance as core risk management.
