BIMB Securities upgrades Malaysia's tech sector to 'Overweight'
BIMB Securities Sdn Bhd has upgraded Malaysia's technology sector to 'Overweight' from 'Neutral', arguing the global artificial intelligence (AI) investment cycle is far from over. The research house named Inari Amertron Bhd as its preferred pick and also highlighted Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX) as a beneficiary. It described the AI spending wave as a multi-decade structural shift rather than a typical boom-and-bust technology cycle.
