Jamil Khir pleads not guilty to three charges over RM860m Tabung Haji losses
Former minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom pleaded not guilty at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court to three charges under Section 403 of the Penal Code linked to the Tabung Haji royal commission of inquiry. He is accused of causing TH to dispose of assets worth more than RM860 million to a property development company, and was granted RM300,000 bail. Jamil Khir said he will defend himself and sees the proceedings as a chance to clear his name.
