Appeal succeeds: jail term for caregiver who killed two-year-old raised to 20 years

The Court of Appeal in Putrajaya raised a former supermarket worker's sentence from eight to 20 years for killing a two-year-old in his care. The offence took place in Kampung Janglau, Rompin, on Nov 11, 2021, and the court called the betrayal of trust an aggravating factor.
