Negri Sembilan DKU declares April proclamation invalid

The Negri Sembilan Dewan Keadilan dan Undang has declared the April 19, 2026 proclamation on the abdication of Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir unconstitutional and invalid. Its secretary said three of the four signatories did not hold the position of Undang at the time and no full inquiry was conducted as the state constitution requires. The DKU says Tuanku Muhriz's position remains intact and it recognises no vacancy.
