IDS Sabah poverty mapping study 40 per cent done, 50 per cent target by year-end
The Institute for Development Studies Sabah says its poverty mapping study is about 40 per cent complete and aims to reach 50 per cent by the end of the year. IDS chairperson Datuk Seri Azizah Mohd Dun said researchers are working with district offices statewide to pinpoint poor villages and demographic groups at micro-settlement level. The findings will go to the Sabah and Federal governments to shape targeted aid programmes.
