Sarawak signs MoU to bid for 2029 Islamic Solidarity Games

Sarawak has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association and the Olympic Council of Malaysia to bid for the 2029 Islamic Solidarity Games. The MoU was signed in Taif, Saudi Arabia, during the 15th ISSA General Assembly. Sarawak minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said the state is ready to work with the federal government and ISSA if selected.
