Sabah government studies three sites for Kota Kinabalu central market relocation
The Sabah government is considering three locations to move the Kota Kinabalu central market out of the city centre. Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor inspected two proposed sites along Likas Bay and near Alamesra, with a third in Darau, but said no final decision has been made. The new market is envisioned to include dry and wet sections, a cultural and tourism products centre, a hawkers centre and a fish wharf.
