Finas: Jakim panel review of two dramas is a one-off, not a new rule for OTT

Finas says a Jakim-led evaluation panel reviewing the dramas Madu Atau Racun and Cela is a temporary arrangement that will not apply to other streaming productions. The panel, which also involves MCMC and industry experts, is checking the full storylines after public complaints, and both shows have been edited pending final approval. Finas adds that existing CMCF guidelines still govern OTT content and that new conditions for the Filming Certificate are being finalised.
