Perak police propose 10 permanent GOF posts along 158km coastline
Perak police have proposed at least 10 permanent General Operations Force control posts along the state's 158km coastline to curb illegal migrant entries and smuggling. Deputy police chief Mohammad Azlin Sadari said the posts would stretch from Bagan Datuk to Kerian, covering four districts, with land applications already submitted. Arrests of undocumented migrants in the four districts rose sharply, reaching 728 as of August this year.
