Lembaga Sungai-Sungai Sarawak bersama Jabatan Pertanian Sarawak dan NREB masih menunggu keputusan analisis makmal sampel air dan ikan yang diambil pada 12 dan 14 September. Punca sebenar kematian ikan belum dapat dipastikan.
