1. PIL2A Phase 1 in Penang 29.85% complete, on track for 2028 opening

   GEORGE TOWN: The first phase of the Pan Island Link 2A (PIL2A) has reached 29.85 per cent completion, with work progressing 0.42 per cent ahead of schedule.

2. Penang expressway night closures set for Sept 7-9 for U-turn works

   The George Town-bound stretch of the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway in Penang will be closed nightly from Sept 7 to 9 for construction of an elevated U-turn facility. The closures, from 10pm to 5am, are part of ongoing highway works linked to the upcoming Air Itam Bypass.
