Jerebu: 63 sekolah di Bintulu dan Tatau ditutup hingga 11 September
Semua 54 sekolah rendah dan sembilan sekolah menengah di bawah Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Bintulu dan Tatau/Sebauh, Sarawak ditutup sehingga 11 September susulan jerebu. Keputusan ini dibuat selepas bacaan Indeks Pencemar Udara (IPU) di Bintulu mencapai 206, tahap sangat tidak sihat. Sarawak haze eases as Serian API drops from hazardous level
Air quality in Sarawak is improving, with no areas recording hazardous API readings as of 1.45pm. Serian, where an emergency was declared yesterday, saw its reading drop to 287, still in the 'very unhealthy' range.
