Najib offers condolences after Marudi helicopter crash kills five
Former prime minister Najib Razak expressed condolences over a Flying Doctor Service helicopter crash near Long Lellang in the Marudi district, Sarawak, which killed a pilot and four Health Ministry personnel. In a Facebook statement, he recalled visiting the area in 2016 and highlighted the challenges of providing services to remote communities.

AAIB investigators arrive in Miri to probe Long Lellang helicopter crash
The Air Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) team is expected to arrive in Miri today to begin investigating the helicopter crash near Long Lellang, Sarawak. The crash site has been cordoned off, and search and rescue operations will resume. The helicopter, a BO-105 from the Flying Doctor Service, was carrying five people when it crashed.
