Woman hurt by falling concrete from heritage building in George Town
A woman in her 20s was injured by falling concrete debris from a heritage building on Lebuh China in George Town, Penang, during the Hungry Ghost Festival. The incident occurred around 11:30 pm when a connecting cable on the wall snapped, causing part of the building's corner structure to fall. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, and MBPP staff were seen cleaning the area and setting up safety tape.
