Shopkeeper recalls Flying Doctor crew's stop before Long Lellang helicopter crash
A shopkeeper in Long Siut, Sarawak, recounted how the Flying Doctor Service helicopter crew stopped at her shop for about an hour before their fatal crash at Long Lellang STOLport. The crew mentioned they had an appointment with patients despite hazy weather. Five people were on board the BO-105 helicopter when it crashed.

Haze strands Mulu vet, forces flight cancellations and delays
A veterinarian, Dr Samuel Wong, is stranded in Mulu, Sarawak, after his flight to Miri was delayed and then rescheduled due to haze, forcing him to pay for extra accommodation and postpone animal appointments at his clinic in Mukah. AirBorneo Airways rescheduled 14 flights due to operational and safety constraints caused by the haze.
