RM10mil karting circuit to open at Desaru Coast by year-end
A new RM10 million karting circuit is being built at Desaru Coast in Johor, with Singapore's Arina International Holding appointed to build and operate it. Construction has begun at Riverside as part of The Sports Arina development, which will also include pickleball and padel facilities. The circuit is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Works Ministry: Cameron Highlands bypass not yet built, flood link inaccurate
The Works Ministry says the Cameron Highlands Bypass is still at the design and assessment stage, with no physical construction on site, so claims linking it to recent flash floods are inaccurate. JKR said the flooding in Taman MARDI and Padang Awam in Tanah Rata hit secondary roads outside the project alignment, while a small landslide on Jalan Tengkolok was cleared under routine maintenance.
