Nahas helikopter FDS: Sarawak serah siasatan kepada CAAM
Kerajaan Sarawak menyerahkan siasatan nahas helikopter Perkhidmatan Doktor Udara (FDS) berhampiran Long Lellang, Ulu Baram kepada Pihak Berkuasa Penerbangan Awam Malaysia (CAAM). Menteri Pengangkutan Sarawak Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin berkata punca kejadian perlu diserahkan kepada pihak berkuasa dan orang ramai tidak wajar membuat andaian. Five people died when a Flying Doctor Service helicopter crashed near Long Lellang, Ulu Baram, Sarawak, on Sept 8. The victims were pilot Captain Zainol Afiq Bee Sham, 30, medical officer Dr Ainul Baraah Kamaruddin, 33, assistant medical officer Alexson Adit Henry, 31, and staff nurses Debra Moset, 40, and Jessie Paya Jok, 44.
