Dua lelaki berusia 25 hingga 29 tahun ditahan di tepi Jalan Bau-Lundu, Bau, Sarawak, tengah hari semalam kerana disyaki terlibat dalam penyalahgunaan dadah. Ketua Polis Daerah Bau berkata kedua-dua suspek ditahan oleh Bahagian Siasatan Jenayah Narkotik IPD Bau dan positif dadah dalam ujian saringan awal air kencing. Kes disiasat di bawah Seksyen 15(1)(a) Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952.

Ratusan ikan ditemui mati di perairan Tebingan Sungai Sarawak, khususnya sekitar Kampung Boyan dan Kampung Gersik di Kuching. Lembaga Sungai-Sungai Sarawak bersama Jabatan Pertanian Sarawak dan NREB masih menunggu keputusan analisis makmal sampel air dan ikan yang diambil pada 12 dan 14 September. Sarawak merancang menubuhkan sembilan lagi One-Stop Early Intervention Centres (OSEIC) menjelang 2030 untuk memperluas perkhidmatan intervensi awal kanak-kanak berkeperluan khas. Kerajaan negeri juga meluluskan RM30 juta di bawah RMK-13 untuk fasa pertama Sarawak Special Needs Community Centre di Samarahan yang dijangka siap Mei 2028. Setakat 31 Disember 2025, seramai 745 kanak-kanak telah menerima perkhidmatan OSEIC.

Hundreds gathered at St Patrick's Chapel in Kampung Semadang, Padawan, on Monday to pay last respects to Flying Doctor Service nurse Debra Moset, 40, one of five killed in a helicopter crash in Long Lellang last week. The first phase of the Special Needs Community Centre (SNCC) in Samarahan, Sarawak is expected to be completed by May 2028, with RM30 million approved under the 13th Malaysia Plan. State minister Fatimah Abdullah said the centre will provide lifelong support including early intervention, vocational training and residential care. She also announced 745 children received early intervention services statewide as of Dec 31, 2025, and Sarawak aims to establish nine more One Stop Early Intervention Centres by 2030.
