A man's body was found with hands and feet bound in a septic tank at a house in Taman Seri Bistari, Nibong Tebal, Penang. Five Myanmar nationals in their 30s were arrested in Lenggeng, Negeri Sembilan, and remanded for seven days at the Bukit Mertajam magistrates' court under Section 365 for kidnapping, with murder also being investigated.

Man found bound in septic tank, five remanded four days
In Nibong Tebal, Penang, the body of a man in his 50s was found with hands and feet bound inside a septic tank behind a terrace house in Taman Seri Bistari. Five individuals including a woman were remanded for four days starting today by Magistrate J Savinder Singh in Bukit Mertajam under Section 365 of the Penal Code. RM30,000 in cash was allegedly transferred from the victim's bank account to a grocery shop in Sungai Bakap before the incident was reported.
