Former project manager charged with CBT over RM14,000 Tabung Haji project penalties
A former construction project manager pleaded not guilty in the Kota Bharu Sessions Court to criminal breach of trust involving RM14,000 in penalties collected from a contractor for a Tabung Haji commercial building project. Mohamad Hashim Mukhatap, 53, is accused of depositing the funds into his personal account between November 2017 and August 2018 at Sofea Residensi in Kota Bharu. The court set bail at RM8,000 and fixed October 19 for mention.

A 72-year-old man pleaded not guilty in the Kota Kinabalu High Court to murdering a woman whose dismembered body was found in Sepanggar in February. The court set October 19 for case management before trial.
