Mok Yoh Pok Kob D'KL, a Kelantanese nasi berlauk restaurant, began operating on 11 July at Elmina Temu 2, Shah Alam. It specialises in gulai serati made with serati ducks supplied from Bachok, Kelantan, and has drawn strong response from residents around Elmina, Kota Damansara and Shah Alam.

Siti Nur Aliah, 22, from Pangsapuri Meru Ehsan in Klang is determined to continue the drink-stall business of her late father, Ah Yauddin Ahmad, who passed away on July 18. She plans to reopen his stall at the Taman Datuk Bandar Meru night market in October, while working part-time to support herself and hoping to resume her studies next year.
