Amirudin challenges Zahid to repeat UMNO ultimatum in Cabinet meeting
Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari challenged UMNO president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to repeat the party's ultimatum at the next Cabinet meeting. He said the Unity Government's focus is on resolving economic issues. Amirudin also said there is no new development on PKR-BN talks ahead of the Melaka state election.

CJ: Syed Ahmad Idid's pension is PSD's call, not judiciary's
In Putrajaya, Chief Justice Tun Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh said the pension issue of former High Court judge Datuk Syed Ahmad Idid Syed Abdullah falls under the Public Service Department, not the judiciary. Syed Ahmad Idid has said he was forced to resign in 1996 after writing a letter alleging corruption in the judiciary, which cost him his pension.

MACC hands eight governance recommendations on JPN shop lot rentals
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission presented eight recommendations to the National Registration Department to improve governance of shop lot, stall and kiosk rental contracts. The recommendations were presented at JPN headquarters and cover application mechanisms, written agreements and security screening of private workers. JPN welcomed the recommendations and signed a Governance Improvement Report.
