   Malaysia Day 2026 state-level celebrations were held across the country today under the theme 'Malaysia MADANI: Kesejahteraan Dinikmati'. In Sabah, the event at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) highlighted the push for MA63 rights, while over 1,000 people attended the Penang celebration at Dewan Millenium, Kepala Batas. Sarawak was again chosen to host the national-level celebration.

   Twenty-three local entrepreneurs in Sabah have received SME-Up grants totalling RM230,000 to upgrade their product packaging and labelling. Each recipient got RM10,000 under the state government initiative, presented in Kota Kinabalu by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick.
