KBS: All ministries ready for Bahrain GP at Sepang
The Youth and Sports Ministry says preparations to host the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit from 2 to 4 October are running smoothly. Technical committee meetings are held every Tuesday and reports go to Cabinet, involving all ministries on protocol, international invitations and infrastructure. SIC has been fully closed since 7 September for circuit and facility repairs.

F1 Bahrain GP preparations at Sepang 80 pct complete, says minister
Preparations for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit are 80 per cent complete, Youth and Sports Minister Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari said in Putrajaya. Upgrading works at SIC began on Sept 7 and 500 volunteers have been identified for training. Malaysia will host the race from Oct 2-4, bringing F1 back after nine years.
