JPJ Selangor issued 33 summonses to lorry and bus drivers for continuously driving in the right lane along the North-South Expressway between Shah Alam and Tanjong Malim. The undercover operation also seized two heavy vehicles driven by foreigners.

Lorry driver threatens suicide after JPJ Selangor summons on PLUS highway
A lorry driver became angry and threatened to end his life after being issued a summons during a JPJ Selangor commercial vehicle operation on the North-South Expressway near Sungai Buloh today. Two express bus drivers also gave excuses of not knowing the lane rules, while another admitted driving in the right lane to rush a cargo delivery.

Government wants more M.V.15 inspection centres opened nationwide
The government is encouraging more Motor Vehicle Inspection Centres (PPKM) dedicated to ownership-transfer (M.V.15) inspections for private vehicles to open nationwide. Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the number of operators is not capped and any company meeting the conditions may apply for a licence. He spoke at the launch of the CARSOME Academy M.V.15 Inspection Centre in Sungai Buloh.
