Go-Ahead Singapore is stepping up training and operational support for bus captains after commuters in Tampines complained of longer and less predictable waits since the operator took over 29 services on July 19. The operator says it is deploying more staff at interchanges and key stops, and Tampines GRC MP Baey Yam Keng says most transition issues have been resolved.

Commuters in Tampines have complained of longer waits and poorer reliability since Go-Ahead Singapore took over the area's bus services. Tampines GRC MP Baey Yam Keng said in a Facebook post on Sunday (Sept 13) that service quality has declined since the SBS Transit era, and Go-Ahead Singapore said about 40 per cent of its drivers are new and need time to learn the routes.
