1. Selangor Exco to discuss follow-up haze measures on Friday

   The Selangor government will discuss follow-up measures to address the worsening haze at its Exco meeting on Friday, according to Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari. Six areas in Selangor recorded unhealthy API readings as of 4.30pm, including Johan Setia (183) and Shah Alam (170).

2. LTdL organisers prepare alternative routes for haze risk

   Organisers of Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2026 are preparing for possible haze, rain and floods during the race from 27 September to 4 October. LTdL chief operating officer Emir Abdul Jalal said alternative routes are ready and any decision will follow UCI rules, including stopping or cancelling a stage if API readings are too high. PKBM president Datuk Amarjit Singh Gill said rider health must come first.
