A mother of six in Besut, Terengganu, who undergoes dialysis three times a week due to stage five kidney failure continues to care for her son, certified OKU last March. Normahera Kholid, 39, who also has four chronic illnesses, needs help with about RM200 a week in treatment travel costs and is looking for a special school for her son.

Father in Besut arrested for alleged sexual assault of two teenage daughters
A 50-year-old father was arrested in Pasir Akar, Besut, at around 12:40 am for allegedly sexually assaulting his two daughters, aged 16 and 17. The suspect is remanded from today until September 12 on orders from the Besut Magistrate's Court, and the case is being investigated under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.

Man arrested to help in rape investigation of stepdaughter
Police in Besut arrested a 40-year-old stepfather to assist in the investigation of the rape and sexual assault of his 13-year-old stepdaughter. The suspect, who tested positive for methamphetamine, will be brought to the Besut Magistrate's Court for a remand application.
