Courier charged in Kuala Terengganu with assaulting 12-year-old girl
A 37-year-old courier pleaded not guilty in the Kuala Terengganu sessions court to two counts of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. The alleged offences took place in June and September 2025 at Kampung Pengkalan Setar, Gelugor Kedai, Kuala Terengganu. Bail was set at RM12,000 and the case will be mentioned again on Oct 12.

Firefighter in Kuala Terengganu Suffers Breathing Difficulty After Putting Out House Fire
A firefighter from the Kuala Terengganu Fire and Rescue Station experienced shortness of breath and numbness after extinguishing a fire that destroyed one house and damaged two others in Taman Perumahan Teluk Pasu, Kuala Terengganu, last night. He was treated at Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital and has been discharged. No fatalities were reported.

Fire destroys elderly woman's home in Kuala Terengganu, Quran survives
A 72-year-old woman in Perumahan Teluk Pasu, Kuala Terengganu lost her home in a fire that broke out at 7:10 pm. The entire house was destroyed with losses estimated at over RM300,000, but several copies of the Quran kept in a cupboard were found unharmed.

Terengganu FC held to goalless draw by Penang FC at home
