Sarawak targets its own CubeSat satellite in orbit by 2030
Sarawak aims to launch a state-owned CubeSat satellite into low earth orbit by 2030 to obtain data from space. John Then Hua said the couple had taken a holiday in Singapore a week before the crash, and that she had been looking forward to moving into their new home in Kampung Semadang. Five others died in the crash, including the pilot and a medical officer.

Police arrest woman, 22, over unlicensed Kuching entertainment centre
Kuching police arrested a 22-year-old woman during a raid on an unlicensed entertainment centre along Jalan Lapangan Terbang late Friday night. Separately, a 41-year-old man died after his car crashed into a roadside ditch along Jalan Sungai Moyan early Saturday.

Sarawak takes 5,000 health worker shortfall to JPA

House on Lorong Diplomatik in Kuching 80pc destroyed by fire, three residents safe
A house at Lot 2798, Lorong Diplomatik Line 1, Kuching was about 80 per cent destroyed by fire at around 9.47pm. Three residents were reported safe, while a neighbouring house was five per cent damaged by heat. The Petra Jaya fire station put out the blaze, which ended at 11.07pm.

Stakan assemblyman wants every JKKK to keep fire extinguishers
Stakan assemblyman Datuk Hamzah Brahim has proposed that every Village Development and Security Committee in his constituency be required to keep fire extinguishers at designated spots.
