Aiman retains national individual time trial title for seventh time
Muhammad Nur Aiman Rosli of Terengganu Cycling Team defended his elite men's individual time trial title at the 2026 National Road Championships in Rembau and Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan. He clocked 37 minutes 35.642 seconds, beating teammate Kee Zhe Yie and Muhammad Yusri Shaari. Intan Suraya Tokiman won the elite women's event.

Teen dies, two injured in crash on Pedas-Kundur-Linggi road
A 19-year-old man died and two others were seriously injured after their car skidded and hit an electric pole at Kilometer 7.6 of Jalan Pedas-Kundur-Linggi in Rembau early this morning. Police believe the crash was due to the vehicle losing control.

Four teens arrested for stealing worshippers' motorcycles at Rembau mosque
Police arrested four teenage boys, aged 14 to 15, for allegedly stealing two motorcycles belonging to worshippers at Masjid Kariah Kampung Rendah in Rembau during Friday prayers. Both motorcycles were recovered within 24 hours of the police reports being filed.

E-hailing driver's quick thinking saves grandmother's RM10,000 from 'love scam' gang
In Rembau, Negeri Sembilan, an e-hailing driver alerted police when a 71-year-old woman tried to transfer RM10,000 to a love scam syndicate at a BSN bank. Police intervened and prevented the transaction, but the victim had already lost RM9,850 in two earlier transfers.
