Malaysian woman held in New Delhi, 15kg cannabis seized
A 22-year-old Malaysian woman from Perak was arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on 4 September after 30 plastic packets containing more than 15kg of cannabis were found in her trolley bag. She arrived from Kuala Lumpur on Batik Air flight OD205 and has a prior drug-related record, and remains in Indian custody.

Perak: residents' associations need approval before hiring security guards
Residents' associations in Perak cannot appoint or train security guards for Community Security Schemes without approval and compliance with regulations. State Housing and Local Government Committee chairman Sandrea Ng Shy Ching said the state is focusing on education and giving associations time to correct shortcomings before enforcement. She also clarified the difference between gated and guarded communities and the rules on public road access.
