Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok performed two nights at Unifi Arena in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, as part of his Iconic World Tour 2026. The 60-year-old sang 25 Cantonese and Mandarin songs over nearly three hours, including a Baby Shark dance showdown with fans.

Immigration raids 11 premises on Jalan Chan Sow Lin, 30 foreigners held
Malaysian Immigration officers raided 11 premises in the commercial area of Jalan Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur, in Ops Serkap at midday yesterday. Thirty foreigners were detained, including 11 Bangladeshis suspected of running the premises, while 19 others were held for various immigration offences. Seized items included 18 laptops, 21 printers and scanners, three mobile phones, 10 Bangladeshi passports, and suspected fake e-PLKS and police reports sold at RM150 and RM70 each.

WHI unveils six new hosts after 25 years on air
TV3's women's talk show Wanita Hari Ini (WHI) is now led by six hosts, including three new faces, after 25 years on air. A media conference introducing the new line-up was held at Balai Berita, Bangsar, with a fresher approach and expanded digital broadcast.

Immigration raids 11 premises in Chan Sow Lin, 11 Bangladeshis held over fake e-PLKS
Malaysian Immigration officers raided 11 premises in the Jalan Chan Sow Lin commercial area of Kuala Lumpur on Monday, detaining 11 Bangladeshi nationals over a suspected fake e-PLKS operation. Investigators say the premises offered fake e-Temporary Employment Visit Pass documents for about RM150 each and forged police reports for about RM70. A further 19 foreign nationals were detained in checks at the same location and sent to the Putrajaya Immigration Depot.

Four children who drowned in Kulim buried in a single grave
Four children who drowned after falling into a drain at Taman Desa Kayangan, Sungai Karangan, Kulim, were buried in one grave at the Masjid Jamek Nurul Ehsan Islamic cemetery today. Two died at the scene and two on the way to Kulim Hospital.

Tour bus catches fire at KM137 of North-South Expressway near Yong Peng, all 15 escape
A tour bus carrying 14 passengers and a driver caught fire at KM137 of the northbound North-South Expressway near Yong Peng, Batu Pahat. All 15 people escaped unhurt after the driver and tour leader evacuated them before firefighters arrived. The bus was about 80 per cent destroyed and the blaze was put out at 2.48pm.

LTdL organisers prepare alternative routes for haze risk
Organisers of Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2026 are preparing for possible haze, rain and floods during the race from 27 September to 4 October. LTdL chief operating officer Emir Abdul Jalal said alternative routes are ready and any decision will follow UCI rules, including stopping or cancelling a stage if API readings are too high. PKBM president Datuk Amarjit Singh Gill said rider health must come first.

Malaysia's national road cycling squad unveiled four core riders for Le Tour de Langkawi 2026 at a media conference at the National Sports Council in Kuala Lumpur. Coach Mohd Yusof Abdul Nasir said the team will not settle for a supporting role and will focus on the climbs, with two more slots to be filled.

The Malaysia International Automotive & Parts Expo (MIAPEX) 2026 will run from 23 to 25 October at MIECC, The Mines, Seri Kembangan, Selangor. Organisers are targeting over 22,000 visitors and more than RM12 million in sales through B2B and B2C platforms, with about 350 exhibitors from Malaysia and abroad.

UM to launch 121st anniversary celebration on Sept 19
Universiti Malaya will launch its 121st anniversary celebration (UM121) on 19 September 2026 at its campus. The launch will be officiated by Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah, who is also UM Chancellor, and features the first Royal Brisk Walk with over 2,000 UM members. A series of UM121 programmes runs until December 2026.

The visit came after Cik Pia expressed her wish to meet on Threads, and Cik B also brought gifts and spent time with other patients and nurses.

1Razak Mansion residents turn abandoned Salak South plot into 'Food Forest'
Residents of 1Razak Mansion in Salak South, Kuala Lumpur have spent eight months turning a 560-square-foot abandoned plot behind Block B into a 'Food Forest' of more than 80 plant, vegetable and herb species. The project, involving 60 residents and led by social entrepreneur Dr Billy Tang, has become a gathering spot for gardening, cooking and neighbourly contact, and also supports recycling, composting and rehabilitation of Sungai Kerayong.

Wanita Hari Ini (WHI) host and executive producer Fiza Sabjahan has revealed she had planned to step down from the TV3 programme this year. The plan was postponed because viewers and sponsors still want her, and she is needed to mentor new hosts. She spoke at an event unveiling WHI's new format and presenters at Balai Berita, Kuala Lumpur.

After reading the script, he realised the Chiu Keng Guan film tells the story of national rally legend Karamjit Singh, and he accepted it as an honour.
