Three held, four still hunted over fatal Taman Alam Megah brawl
Selangor police have arrested three of seven suspects wanted over a brawl that killed a man in Taman Alam Megah last month. The three will be charged soon while four others remain at large. The case is being investigated under Sections 302 and 149 of the Penal Code.

Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 at Putrajaya, KLIA from Sept 23
Tourism Malaysia will hold the Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 from 23 September to 4 October at several locations including IOI City Mall Putrajaya, Terminal 1 KLIA and Hotel Sama-Sama. The festival combining motorsport and culture aims to attract international visitors under the Visit Malaysia 2026-2027 campaign.

Paramount Corp opens 11th Co-labs Coworking outlet at Sunway Square
Paramount Corp Bhd has opened its eleventh Co-labs Coworking outlet at Sunway Square Corporate Tower 1 in Petaling Jaya. The 19,000 sq ft space on Level 9 offers 268 seats and is currently 30% occupied, with two more multinational companies expected to bring it to 50% by month-end. Two more outlets are planned next year in Johor Bahru and the Klang Valley.

Sabah FC coach questions refereeing after FA Cup exit
Sabah FC head coach Juan Torres Garrido criticised the standard of refereeing after his side were knocked out of the FA Cup by Selangor FC 4-3 on aggregate. He claimed controversial decisions, including a penalty and a 'soft elbow' red card, made his team's path harder. The second leg was played at Stadium Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ).

MAKAF promises Proton e.MAS to karate gold medallists at Asian Games
The Malaysian Karate Federation (MAKAF) has promised a Proton e.MAS car to any national karate athlete who wins gold at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya. Its president Datuk Nur Azmi Ahmad said the reward is extra motivation for the seven athletes being sent, with a target of at least one gold. The announcement was made after a symbolic ceremony at the National Sports Institute (ISN) in Kuala Lumpur.

Pan-gon unhappy as Liga M schedule forces players to play every 48 hours
Selangor FC coach Kim Pan-gon has criticised the Liga Malaysia schedule after his side played three matches in a week. He said the 48-hour rest period is hurting performance and raising injury risk, after SFC beat Sabah FC 2-1 at Stadium MBPJ to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Selangor beat Sabah 2-1 at MBPJ Stadium on Wednesday to advance to the FA Cup quarter-finals 4-3 on aggregate. Coach Kim Pan Gon criticised the scheduling of two matches within 72 hours and the closed-door ruling that kept spectators away.

Alam Maritim CEO charged with fraud over vessel charter rates, claims trial
Alam Maritim Resources Bhd group managing director and CEO Datuk Azmi Ahmad was charged in the Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur with two counts of fraud over the daily charter rate of a vessel. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of RM300,000 with one surety. The court set Nov 18 for mention of the case.

Taman Gasing Indah terrace house sold for RM850k after two days
A double-storey terrace house in Taman Gasing Indah, Petaling Jaya, Selangor was sold for RM850,000 just two days after listing. The buyers were drawn to its refurbished condition, freehold status and price about RM200,000 below market. A similar unit sold for RM790,000 in October 2022, while average asking prices in the area are around RM1.17 million.
