JPJ Selangor issued 33 summonses to lorry and bus drivers for continuously driving in the right lane along the North-South Expressway between Shah Alam and Tanjong Malim. The undercover operation also seized two heavy vehicles driven by foreigners.

Lorry driver threatens suicide after JPJ Selangor summons on PLUS highway
A lorry driver became angry and threatened to end his life after being issued a summons during a JPJ Selangor commercial vehicle operation on the North-South Expressway near Sungai Buloh today. Two express bus drivers also gave excuses of not knowing the lane rules, while another admitted driving in the right lane to rush a cargo delivery.

Sarawak launches Sarawak-Brunei-Sabah cross-border guidebook
Sarawak's Ministry of Transport and the Malaysia Productivity Corporation launched a cross-border operational guidebook to ease the movement of goods and passengers between Sarawak, Brunei and Sabah. The launch was held alongside a two-day workshop in Kuching reviewing two BIMP-EAGA land transport MoUs. Sarawak Transport Minister Lee Kim Shin said the guidebook is a practical reference for operators on documents, permits and cross-border requirements.

Firemen trek 2km up Bukit Perak Cave Temple to bring down Nepali man's body
A Nepali man was found hanging from a tree at the summit of Bukit Perak Cave Temple on Jalan Kuala Kangsar in Ipoh. Six firemen walked about two kilometres along a hilly route to reach the body and bring it down before handing it to police. The operation began after a call at 1.33pm and ended at 4.10pm.

At the UMNO General Assembly 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi allowed a man carrying a 'Justice for Najib Razak' placard onto the stage during his closing speech. Singer Yasin Sulaiman, 50, is enjoying freedom after being released from detention at Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta. He described his four-and-a-half-year ordeal in Sungai Buloh Prison, Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta and Kajang Prison as the hardest phase of his life, and advised people not to end up in prison.
