BERSATU Perlis denies claims 40 branches quit party
BERSATU Perlis chairman Izizam Ibrahim has denied claims that dozens of branches in the state have left the party, calling them political games by certain individuals. He said no official resignation letters were received and registration records show only a handful of branches are eligible to meet. The crisis erupted after leaders in the Padang Besar, Kangar and Arau divisions announced their resignations.

Wawasan breaches Bersatu stronghold in Perlis, 90 Kangar branch chiefs defect
Parti Wawasan Negara (Wawasan) is making inroads into Bersatu's strongholds in Perlis, particularly Kangar and Padang Besar. In Kangar, 90 of 99 branch chiefs left the party, while in Padang Besar and Arau division leaders and branch chiefs also joined Wawasan. Newly appointed Perlis Bersatu chairman Izizam Ibrahim remains optimistic about defending the party.
