Immigration detains 122 foreigners in coordinated raids in Cheras and Perai
Malaysia's Immigration Department detained 35 undocumented foreigners during an operation at a factory area in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, on Monday. In a simultaneous operation, the Penang office detained 87 more foreigners at a factory in Perai, Bukit Mertajam. All detainees are being investigated for various offences under the Immigration Act 1959/63.

Total IPCO Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Xin Synergy Group Bhd, has filed a lawsuit at the High Court of Pulau Pinang against three former directors and 15 other defendants. The company is seeking to recover approximately RM37.94 million in losses and damages related to moneylending activities that allegedly did not comply with procedures.
