BAM says national players' discipline improving at academy

Minister: Six-gold target for Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games is realistic
Youth and Sports Minister Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari said Malaysia's target of six gold medals at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya is realistic, based on assessments of athletes' ability and sports associations' commitment. He said mental preparation and the contingent's welfare are being addressed, including the weather in Japan, and he will depart for Aichi-Nagoya on 18 September. Malaysia is sending 352 athletes and 185 officials in 30 of 43 sports.

Lee Tuck ends retirement to sign for Kelantan City in AFL
Former Malaysia midfielder Lee Tuck has come out of retirement to join semi-professional side Kelantan City, with the signing confirmed by administrator Tan Sri Annuar Musa before the Amateur Football League registration window closed. The 38-year-old, who last played for Kedah in 2023, is among 33 players registered for the club.
