Nepal hydropower tunnel rescue: 46 workers feared trapped for a week may still be alive
The rescue operation at the Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project tunnel in Rasuwa district, Nepal, is ongoing. Nepal Electricity Authority director Shahi said 46 workers may be trapped in a 'room-like structure' with food and water, and could still be alive after a week. As of September 2, rescue teams had advanced about 150 meters into the tunnel but were blocked by large rocks.
