Seorang bekas anggota Komando 69, Zol'aini Sabar, 68, berkata keamanan Malaysia hari ini hasil pengorbanan perajurit negara. Beliau mengimbau tragedi Bukit Jenalik di Kuala Kangsar pada 2 Julai 2000, apabila kumpulan Al-Maunah yang melarikan senjata dari Kem Rejimen Askar Wataniah di Gerik berkubu di situ sehingga mencetuskan Op Subuh. Dua anggota keselamatan terkorban dalam operasi itu.

Kuala Kangsar Bersatu Deputy Chief, Eight Branch Leaders Quit Party
Kuala Kangsar Bersatu division deputy chief Datuk Adly Shah Ahmad Tah and eight of the division's 11 branch leaders announced they are resigning from all party posts and leaving Bersatu. Adly Shah said the decision was made after considering the political struggle and future of Kuala Kangsar residents. The division now has only three of its 11 branches left, and more than 100 members showed up to support the move.
