Dua lelaki ditahan positif dadah di Jalan Bau-Lundu
Dua lelaki berusia 25 hingga 29 tahun ditahan di tepi Jalan Bau-Lundu, Bau, Sarawak, tengah hari semalam kerana disyaki terlibat dalam penyalahgunaan dadah. Ketua Polis Daerah Bau berkata kedua-dua suspek ditahan oleh Bahagian Siasatan Jenayah Narkotik IPD Bau dan positif dadah dalam ujian saringan awal air kencing. Kes disiasat di bawah Seksyen 15(1)(a) Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952.

Air botol diagih kepada penduduk Sarawak terjejas kemarau
A dry spell in parts of Sarawak has dried up gravity-feed water sources and lowered river levels, prompting the distribution of bottled water to affected communities. As of Aug 31, 750 bottles were distributed to 94 families in Lundu and Sri Aman, with the Welfare Department and JBALB coordinating further assistance.
