Pahang haze worsens, all five API stations record unhealthy readings
Hazy conditions and reduced visibility hit several areas in Pahang today, with all five API monitoring stations in the state recording unhealthy readings. Indera Mahkota in Kuantan recorded 164, the highest in Pahang since the haze began, and schools in Kuantan have suspended outdoor co-curricular activities. A state committee chairman advised residents to limit outdoor activity, avoid open burning and wear masks.

An Aedes eradication operation along the Balok coastal road in Pahang found seven premises with Aedes breeding and issued eight Notices of Order. A total of 54 personnel from seven districts inspected 142 premises in the dengue control operation.
