MACC arrests 11 over vehicle ownership document syndicate in Perak
Eleven people, including six civil servants, were arrested in Perak over a syndicate allegedly falsifying vehicle ownership transfer documents and bribing enforcement officers. They were detained at the Perak MACC office and remanded until Sept 14, following six months of intelligence-sharing between MACC and the Road Transport Department.

Malaysian woman held in New Delhi, 15kg cannabis seized
A 22-year-old Malaysian woman from Perak was arrested at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on 4 September after 30 plastic packets containing more than 15kg of cannabis were found in her trolley bag. Perak: residents' associations need approval before hiring security guards
Residents' associations in Perak cannot appoint or train security guards for Community Security Schemes without approval and compliance with regulations. Ex-KPTM Ipoh administrator faces six charges over female students
A former administrator of Kolej Poly-Tech Mara (KPTM) in Ipoh was charged in court with six offences involving alleged criminal force against two female students and obscene words against four others. Roykarnaen Maseri, 44, pleaded not guilty to all charges, which were allegedly committed at the college and other locations in Ipoh between June and August. The court set bail at RM8,000.

Skechers Malaysia targets 11 new stores, opens large Sungai Buloh outlet in September
