Singapore aid package lands in Kathmandu as DVI team hunts for nine missing Singaporeans
Singapore's S$560,000 humanitarian aid package arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Sept 10 to help Nepal after the Aug 26 flash floods that killed almost 1,400 people. The package includes medical supplies, DNA test kits and protective equipment, and a Singapore Police Force disaster victim identification team is helping Nepali authorities identify victims, including nine missing Singaporeans.
