1. Flash flood traps 14 in Sungai Pertak river, all rescued by firemen

   A flash flood at Sungai Pertak in Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor, left 13 adults and one child stranded in the middle of the river at about 5.03pm. Fire and rescue personnel used ropes across the river to bring all 14 safely to the bank.
